The bow was the true winner of last evening’s Golden Globe Awards. Gemma Chan, Alison Brie (who according to Chrissy Metz is “such a bitch”), Kaley Cuoco, Dakota Fanning, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Constance Wu, Charlize Theron, Julianne Moore, Rachel Brosnahan – the list goes on – seriously!
Hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg gave out flu shots mid show in lieu of pizza, which was a letdown. Jim Carrey auditioned for the Oscars hosting gig, however, I really think the Fiji Water girl deserves the role. Jameela Jamil wore jeans under her gown bc it was sweater weather in LA. Gaga took monochrome to another level and lost to Glenn Close. Taylor Swift was there. Christian Bale thanked Satan. And both Rami Malek AND Bohemian Rhapsody won, so I can now die happy.
Special shout out to the guys who really let their style shine through on the carpet this year (hopefully!) allowing others permission to mix it up this awards season and take risks with their suiting choices.
