Awards season is something Rachel Zoe taught me to love and loathe. While you can get wrapped up in the stress of the event, at the end of the day, the pressure you put on yourself to perfect a look is totally worth it. (Even when you make the ‘worst dressed’ list – right Anne Hathaway?)
This awards season, American Hustle has been voted most likely to succeed, (Although, I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for Out of the Furnace) and I cannot wait to see Jennifer Lawrence in Dior. Let’s hope she’s healthy this year and can keep her balance.
American Hustle’s 70s inspired looks are sure to nab an award or two for costume design. From plunging necklines to platform loafers and twist-front jersey dresses – think early Tom Ford-Gucci – Michael Wilkinson (the film’s costume designer) mixes the perfect balance of authentic and contemporary pieces.
Let’s add a “Best Hair” category this year and give it to Bradley Cooper. How does he manage to pull of those tight ringlets?
