The Oscars happened last night – in lieu of the rain storm.
A pizza party, moving speeches, a celeb-packed selfie, and Pharrell dancing on stage in his Arby’s hat were just some of the antics that occurred. Oh, and Jennifer Lawrence tripped over a cone in her red Dior. Tell me you’re surprised.
The red carpet was a sea of fifty shades of black and blue and a whole lot of metallic. Retro waves, Jesus hair (looking at you Jared Leto) and statement necklaces were a few red carpet trends to keep in mind when dressing for your next night out.
Best dressed of the night had to be Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace. A plunging neckline with beading and a cape? She nailed it. Navy is definitely Amy Adams’ color, and I didn’t mind the Gucci gown, but her hair looked like I did on Saturday night when I forgot to make a Drybar appointment – no bueno. Worst dressed for sure.
Pharrell showing up in Lanvin shorts and no socks was pretty epic. I can’t say I hated it…
