Easter is this Sunday, which means some of you have off on Monday – so jealous.
Easter is all about tradition. Whether it be painting pastel hardboiled eggs, running through muddy fields for said eggs or (in my family’s case) competitively searching the beach house for plastic eggs with dollar bills inside.
Show of hands: Who still hides their sibling’s baskets only to find it in the EXACT same spot every year? I’m waiting for the year when someone accidentally leaves the oven on with my basket inside. Liquid Hershey’s bunnies don’t exactly have the same appeal.*
*Yes, I realize I’m in my late twenties..
When I think Easter fashion, all I can picture is a sea of Kentucky Derby hats. The term “Sunday Best” is used literally for churchgoers on Easter. Since I’m not a senior citizen quite yet, I typically stick with a Lilly Pulitzer dress and heels. You can’t go wrong with that, right?
I went with a cobalt shift this year, since it’s a fun Spring color. What will you be wearing? Have any fun traditions?
