A movie about a group of elderly women with a desire to start a cheerleading squad?!

Heading into this screening, I expected Poms to be very Bring it On meets Book Club – and I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in the lack of fluff. I’m not one who particularly enjoys the discussion of death. In fact, I laugh at how casual my Nan has become about it – she’s always the first one to gossip about the latest member of her “clique” sent to the heavens – as if were a top story on E! News.

I will say Poms does a great job incorporating this mindset that many (aka my Nan) have about death. It’s inevitable. From the residents hitting up wakes for a free lunch to one of the women “accidentally” killing her husband so she can join the squad, Poms definitely has its funny moments – with a sweet message: it’s never too late to chase a dream.

And because Diane Keaton & the rest of her squad’s skin was almost envious in the film, here are a few of my favorite anti-aging serums to try:
