Jennifer Aniston almost setting the Staples Center on fire at last night’s Emmy Awards was the most on brand thing to happen this year.
On top of that, there was a Schitt’s Creek sweep (a first for the category!), volunteers dressed in hazmat tuxedos delivering awards, a NYE celebration at Reese Witherspoon’s (which I still don’t get), a mini Friends reunion, live Covid testing, and spotty Wi-Fi.
This was the 2020 Emmy Awards..
Here’s to hoping this never has to happen again.
