FreeForm premiered the first two episodes of their new thriller Cruel Summer last night and OMG, we’ve finally got something to quench our thirst until the Pretty Little Liars reboot drops. Set in the 1990’s, the show follows the events that unfold (over the course of three summers) when the most popular girl in school disappears – and another mysteriously takes over her life – in a small town.
More importantly, Cruel Summer serves the ’90s nostalgia. The series is very stylized so if you’re in the mood to reminisce – think: butterfly clips, baguette bags, slip dresses, and cardigans – this show gives us all the spring fashion inspo we need.
