The show centers around a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 1990s whose members reunite (after their song gets sampled by a young rapper) to give their pop star dreams one more shot — this time while balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain. Did I mention that Busy Phillips and Ashley Park (from Mean Girls on Broadway + Emily in Paris) are both on the show?! Icons.
This comedy gives me 2gether vibes, which makes my heart so full. And if you are unaware of this MTV movie reference, please refrain for stating so because I will officially feel old af.
