I was invited to see Pretty Woman: The Musical tonight so obviously the only thing running through my mind has been what I’m going to wear. You know we live for the look here at Eye Hate Heels…
The fashion in this classic is something that will forever be cemented in the Hollywood history books so the pressure is on! The modern take on Cinderella chronicles prostitute Vivian’s rise to grace – and the glove is the perfect costume choice to forge that statement. Let’s make note, the Disney Princess also wore gloves and I most likely will this evening as well.
If there’s one item that’s essential to refreshing your wardrobe this season, it’s the glove. We’ve seen it on Ariana Grande (basically every week on this past season of The Voice) as well as Zoë Kravitz and ‘It Girls’ galore. The kicker is that the gloves being worn are not for function (although bonus points for warmth!), but rather to add a bit of excitement and glamour to a look – think Grace Kelly at the Oscars.
