In 2017, there’s no such thing as too much twinkle – and last night’s AMAs proved this theory to be true. Aside from Selena’s epic performance and newfound blonde ambition, sparkle was a common theme amongst the talent.
I’ve long been a fan of Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers, Jessica Rabbit’s sequin red dress, and Cher’s, well… everything, so I’m elated that designers have been pushing a much-needed sense of joy and fantasy to fashion with all things sparkle as of late. Sequins reflect optimism and can elevate a casual piece of clothing – just take note of the K-Pop superstars on the red carpet (below)!
