I’ve always been one to pride myself on succeeding jet lag, but boy was I in need of a nap prior to last night’s episode. And thank god I did because a lot went down.
On the “Always A Bridesmaid” group date, the girls and Nick took part in a wedding-themed photo shoot with a super creepy/intriguing photographer (can he come along on every group date?). Alexis, the aspiring dolphin trainer, was deemed the “shotgun bride” which meant she had to wear a pregnancy suit. Her and Nick later spent their one-on-one time celebrating her boobs’ one-year anniversary – so romantic.
If I were on this group date, I would have chosen to be the “Adam and Eve” bride like Brittany, mainly because she got to eat a honey crisp apple. They’re legit my favorite! Corinne, the “beach bride” took her top off and forced Nick to cop a feel during their shoot in the pool thus resulting in the photographer choosing her as the winner/best bride of the date. I have to say, Corinne is ratings gold; drunk, aggressive, crazy, and weird – basically a producer’s dream. I find it concerning that Taylor (the “princess bride”) is a mental health counselor, but that being said, she was my favorite of the night and has my vote for next Bachelorette.

Back at the mansion, Liz is being a creep serial killer smiling to herself while the rest of the girls discuss how dreamy Nick is (or isn’t). Reminder: she’s been holding onto her nine month secret of having a one-night-stand with Nick. Liz eventually cracks – let’s be honest, girl’s been itching to shout it from the rooftop – and confides in Christen about their sexcapades.
Danielle M. (even as I’m recapping this, I actually forget who she is) gets the first solo date. I’m not gonna lie, dropping in from a helli onto a yacht is pretty dope. Boyfriends take notes. Maybe it’s just her nerves but Danielle seems like she took one too many Xanax before the date.
The second group date of the night properly coined “We Need To Talk” takes Nick and the girls to the Museum of Broken Relationships. Not-so-coincidentally, this is where Nick’s almost-engagement ring to Kaitlyn is showcased. Episode 2 slowly reconfirmed how egocentric Nick is. The girls then all have to “break up” with Nick. Liz takes advantage of her turn and finally shares her story of him and her meeting in a hotel lobby – straight out of an R&B song. Nick is less than amused.
Ultimately, Liz gets sent home before the rose ceremony and we’re left with a “to be continued”…
