Hopped off the plane at PHL with some stories and hypothermia.. You guys, it’s SO. COLD.
Even though it was down-pouring outside the Dolby Theatre this past Sunday, the Oscars were still warmer than the east coast. Emma Stone and Julianne Moore KILLED it on the red carpet. Like seriously, can we pause for a moment and just note how these two slayed awards season?!
I have to admit, I had higher hopes for Neil Patrick Harris’ hosting ability. Most of his jokes were flops (just ask Oprah) and let’s be honest – it’s pretty hard to follow up last year’s selfie-filled pizza party.
The highlight of my evening was when Lady Gaga fluffed the crowd for the “Queen of Genovia” – I seriously neeeed to know Julie Andrews’ skin regimen. She is 79 and looking fine.
Snaps to Birdman for taking home Best Picture. Since Black Swan is one of my favorite movies, and it’s practically the same film, I was totally rooting for it.
