Let me first start by saying that I cannot wait for this show to premiere in May!
We all remember my obsession with Sally Rooney’s Normal People – and Connell’s chain – but the Irish novelist’s latest, Conversations with Friends (Rooney’s debut novel) is the next masterpiece slated to hit Hulu in a 12-episode series.
I already had full trust that this would deliver.. the Lenny Abrahamson-led team (specifically screenwriter Alice Birch) who smashed it with their adaptation of Normal People is heading the project, but I’m so fully in after seeing the trailer.
I never really got the Joe Alwyn-obsession, until I watched this..
