I love that each piece of clothing can hold a sentimental value. There are some pieces that can make you relive a great memory, loved one, adventure – you get the idea – each time you put it on.
I recently found this floral blouse hiding in the back of my closet. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve worn it in about six years. As soon as I put it on, I had an instant flash of memories back to the night I first wore it.
It was Thanksgiving Eve – Senior year of college – and I was out with a group of old high school friends. It was just one of those nights where you don’t have any expectations, but winds up being one of your top 10 favorites. I paired the blouse with skinny jeans that evening. Basic.
Flash forward to present day, I HAD to pair it with my new pencil skirt I purchased on sale, and for the heck of it, accessorized with my green beaded clutch from prom. It’s still cute, no?
