After watching E!’s Fashion Police panel dish on Kate Bosworth’s all white look and reading a feature tweeted by Lucky mag, I decided I need to address this whole white on white craze.
I get it – punk is in. Just like Anne Hathaway’s rebellious blonde hair moment at the Met Gala – she actually ended up looking way better than usual – the whole wearing white after Labor Day ‘just because’ is officially a thing.
I tried this look out and have to admit, I got some weird once-overs. It most likely had something to do with the fact that I wore it to brunch in a small beach town where most of the customers were senior citizens fresh out of Sunday mass. “Old people can be so sweet sometimes” – you’re right Cher, they can, except when they don’t appreciate that the laws of fashion were meant to be broken sometimes. Then, they give you the ‘who farted?’ look.
Regardless, what do you guys think? Is an all white look in the fall a Do or Don’t?
