No, you weren’t seeing double. So many actors were nominated for dual roles at last night’s Globes – my personal favorite being Reese Witherspoon for both her performance in Big Little Lies as well as The Morning Show. I’d also just like to point out that not only were Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston both in attendance, but all three Green sisters were also there last night. Ah, ’90s nostalgia at it’s finest.
Ricky Gervais hosted for his fifth (and final?) time and for the first time ever, the menu was fully vegan so Juaquin was PUMPED. JLo looked like a present from the island of misfit toys, Tom Hanks made us all cry, Gwyneth Paltrow was naked, Michelle Williams tackled women’s rights, and 1917 beat out The Irishman! Super glad I decided to get tickets to see it on Thursday..
My favorite moment was during Brad Pitt’s acceptance speech. Not only is he still hot, but he dropped this line: “If you see a chance to be kind to someone tomorrow take it. I think we need it.”
