So basically everyone on the Oscars red carpet got the roaring ‘20s memo last night. Like there were no “bad” looks. There was, however, a breakout star of the evening…
The midriff.
While the cut-out has been trending on the runways for a few seasons now, stars (and us!) are finally starting to incorporate the simple detail into our looks to boost a bit of drama to our spring/summer ensembles. And while we may not be attending the Oscars in Valentino Couture a la Carey Mulligan, I’d still place bets on people wanting to drink our spat in coffee if caught in a bandeau top and boyfriend jeans.. just saying.
