With studded embellishments becoming more and more prominent for Fall 2012 fashions, I have to thank Lady Gaga, KeSha, and any other ’80’s punk wannabe for throwing this look in our faces. Congratulations, it has finally caught on and I am completely obsessed. I mean, even Capezio <pictured above> is making studded ballet flats. LOVE.
Now, let’s not go overboard here, and assume we need to embellish every item in our closets with studs. My suggestion would be to keep this look as low key and toned down as possible. Whether it be incorporating a studded clutch, flats <Urban has amazing options right now!>, nail art, etc. While ‘more is more‘ is an amazing motto, the phrase ‘less is more‘ needs to stay true to this trend.
