In honor of it being Halloween in exactly ONE WEEK <get your costumes together!>, I figured I would share my la ropa version of the black cat’s nine lives..
Yesterday, I wore a super cute mustard <my favorite color> dress and was stopped by multiple women numerous times while running errands throughout the day at various locations to ask where it was from. When my response was, “H&M in 2007”, most looked at me like I had ten heads.
Typically, items purchased at stores such as H&M, Forever 21, etc. will only last a few wearings, let alone years, so I feel very fortunate this $20 dress got the attention that it did. At a quarter past four on 10/23/12, the black cat crossed the road and after five amazing years in my closet, it’s ninth life of luck ran out <a ghost put a hole in the left shoulder> and I had to lay my dress to rest.
R.I.P. Mustard Vestido, you will be missed terribly.
