In the midst of this insane, glorious madness, I wanted to present you guys with my catwalk predictions for fashion month since trend-forecasting is what I do best.
This era that we’re entering promises to be full of dynamic changes. Me Too, Time’s Up – all of the political and societal messaging that’s been surrounding us is bound to impact the way we dress.
Just like last season, an air of nostalgia and bygone eras will collide with the present. Even the nominations this awards season have taken us through a major fashion time warp.

Sportswear will continue to evolve due to the need for easy-to-wear, everyday dressing. Who else is ridiculously excited for Juicy Couture‘s first-ever runway show?! No time like the present for the velour tracksuit to plot it’s comeback!
I was recently asked to describe my style in one word. I went with “eclectic” and I think this is exactly the direction this season’s trends will take us in. Retro pieces fused with classic items, clashing prints, vibrant colors, etc.
Volume is key. Extended shoulders accentuated with wide belts (literally lived in these in college!) and multiple layers.
