You guys… I’ve never been more thrilled with an Oscars than I was with last night’s 91st Academy Awards. Granted, a lot of you may feel differently, but had Bohemian Rhapsody snagged the Best Picture and been five for five, I would have exploded with joy. It’s going to be hard to get over their loss, but I guess – like – congrats to Green Book?
Bradley and Gaga’s performance of ‘Shallow’ was impeccable and both received a second standing-O – and hug from Irina – when making their way back to their seats post performance. Gaga is legit like a really nice person. And no, that was not the Isadora.
Roma is proof that Netflix knows wtf they’re doing – however, I will never watch it knowing there is a stillbirth shown.
A short about menstruation won (I feel so triumphant!). Rami fell off the stage post acceptance speech for Best Actor. Glenn Close lost. And there was SO.MUCH.PINK. The carpet was drowning in shades of pink ruffles and I could not have asked for more. See: last year’s Globes post.
