Jughead and my idea of partying are quite similar; arrive at the party, find the dog, pet the dog, then leave the party – in a cute dress a la Veronica Lodge, of course.
In true Jughead fashion, he prefers to keep his birthday under wraps. When Archie tips Betty off that her beau is turning one year older, she decides to host a low key surprise party (at Archie’s since his dad went to finalize the divorce) for her main squeeze.
Cheryl (still butthurt over losing to V in their River Vixens dance-off) teams up with Chuck (who’s back from suspension) to crash the “inner circle only” surprise party with all of Riverdale High.
Naturally, things go awry.
Archie gets wasted. Veronica hooks up with him (after accusing Cheryl of “twincest”). Betty slaps Chuck. Jughead throws a bitch fit – then fights Chuck. Jughead’s dad is there…
We’re left with a surprise return of Archie’s mom – the ginger of all gingers – no, not Barb/Ethel, but Molly mother-effing Ringwald!
