Sorry for the late recap you guys! Just got back from StyleCon (post coming later this week!!) and was finally able to watch episode 4 on the plane ride home last night, so let’s get to it…
According to the letter he sent her, the Black Hood was so “moved” by Betty’s speech at the jubilee that he is now killing for her. With Archie threatening violence against the Black Hood – and the Red Circle video going viral – Veronica’s parents insist that she stop dating him. Fat chance.
Aside from the return of V’s cape coat, it looks like Red Circle tees are now a style staple at Riverdale High.
The Serpents see the Black Hood as a hero since he’s doing their dirty work, so they interrupt what looks to be the most delicious pizza party ever and rumble in the streets with Archie & co. This puts Jughead in quite the pickle.
In hopes of a turning point to brighter days, Archie and V throw his gun into Sweet Water River and episode four ends with a phone call to Betty from… the Black Hood!
