Not gonna lie… with the links between the Black Hood and the Riverdale Reaper growing closer, I definitely slept with the Disney channel on last night after watching episode 8.
Due to overcrowding, Jughead’s dad gets out of jail early and may look better than Teresa Giudice post sentence. Seriously, is jail like where people go to get a hot bod?! Asking for a friend…
After getting it on all over Riverdale, Archie drops the L-bomb on Veronica, who doesn’t reciprocate. My high school boyfriend dropped this four letter word to me after prom and I pretended to be asleep, so I feel your pain, V!
Issues aside, they go on to sing karaoke and investigate the same slaughter house the Black Hood sent Betty to a few eps back. We learn, that the Riverdale Reaper killed the family who used to live there and the lone survivor is working as the janitor at Riverdale High.
Cheryl’s still pissed at Mr. Jones – who’s of course, now working at Pop’s. Betty wants to join Jughead’s world, which means stripping her way to Serpent-cy. And Jughead pouts because he failed his dad. Oh, and Mrs. Cooper crashes Mr. Jones’ (not?) retirement party as though she never left the Serpents.
With everyone’s relationship status pending, the episode ends with a Betty/Archie teaser – which, let’s be honest – was bound to happen.
