I set my alarm for 4:45am on Saturday morning so I could grab my Starbuck’s latte (and a few pastries from my favorite bakery) before the 5am coverage of the Royal Wedding began. It was everything I’d imagined and then some.
Loved it or hated it, Meghan Markle’s Givenchy gown was a timelessly modern vision and the fact that lip readers caught Harry saying “I’m so lucky” to her made my heart skip a beat. Not to mention the fact that she legit lit 2 billion people up with social justice preaching at a traditionally stuffy event.
