I first took notice of TomboyX when they participated in Fashion Week in NYC, but ultimately decided to team up with them not only because of their amazing underwear and apparel (that actually fits regular bodies), but due to their agenda.
TomboyX goes by what they call a “human agenda.”
We are all people; and any girl or woman or person who does their own thing, dresses the way they want, gets their hands dirty, and keeps their mind open – was, is, and always will be a tomboy. Because what’s more human than being exactly, brazenly, no apologies, who you were born to be?
The fact that TomboyX aims to dismantle stereotypes and motivate self-expression really speaks to me. Sure, I love the color pink, dressing up for a theme party (WAIT until you see what we have in store for the Stranger Things premiere next week!), and would rather be in pain from my heels than wear ugly shoes, but did you know I secretly can beat anyone at Foosball and can belch with the best of them (ask my friends)?!
