The Backpack – a bag with shoulder straps that allow it to be carried on one’s back – or as I like to call it, THE fall carryall for trendy, twenty-somethings on the go!
Typically worn by students on campus (Cher Horowitz’s baby Prada backpack anyone?) or IT nerds, backpacks have re-emerged as a fashion staple this season. No complaints here as the comfort and ease of the backpack put my one-shouldered totes to shame. Think hailing a cab circa 5pm in the pouring rain attempting to juggle your over-sized, over-stuffed, multi-pound purse in one hand, umbrella in another, while on an extremely important call with your bestie debating a location for happy hour. You with me?
