Sooooo I was really torn last night because the VMAs, Big Brother, AND the Game of Thrones finale were set to overlap my television screen. Seriously, W-T-F. Since Paul is the ultimate cult leader and basically running the BB house, I easily nixed that and chose to watch the VMAs until GoT came on. Based on the fact that Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ video premiered within the first hour, Kendrick Lamar opened the show (epic!), and Katy Perry was hosting, I think it’s safe to say MTV knew most viewers would flip the channel come 9pm.

The men always SHOW UP to the VMAs, but this year was like no other. Jared Leto wore my Christmas outfit from 2015. Jeremy Scott alluded to the fact that “millennial pink” is officially on it’s way out and yellow is happening – like now. Ashad Khaled wore Gucci. And my hero, Rory Kramer, wore a custom McDonald’s suit. Zero effs given.
As far as the ladies go, I have to give a shoutout to the embellishments on Olivia Munn’s mini dress by designer, Jebran. Living for them and her dark lip. Paris Jackson is SO much cooler than I’ll ever be. So obsessed with her confidence – and eye makeup. Also, I much prefer “country glam” Miley over her raunchy-Robin-Thicke-look from a few years back.
Can we discuss Taylor’s thigh high sparkle boots though?!
