Anita Patrickson – Harper’s BAZAAR Spokesperson, Celebrity Stylist, and my new favorite person.
Last night, my friends and I joined Anita at BAZAAR’s Work the Look event at Le Meredian in Philadelphia. The event offered Wharton Business students beauty makeovers courtesy of Lancome, specialty cocktails and professional style tips from Anita. This is the second year BAZAAR has traveled across the country to top business schools bringing workwear trends to life straight from the pages of the magazine.
Anita was fresh off a red eye from the Emmys, where she dressed award winner Derek Hough and his sister Julianne. Check out E! Online’s behind-the-scenes beauty diary featuring Julianne and Anita. The stylist was looking glam in red Valentino’s and black leather pants as she worked the crowd (you’d never know it, but she admitted to sneaking power naps in between sessions!).
We had a chance to chat with Anita after her presentation. She gave us the inside scoop about working with dancing’s most beautiful siblings. Despite his continued success, Derek Hough was doubtful he’d take home a win on Sunday. Good thing Anita begged him to change into his burgundy jacket post-performance for his acceptance speech.
