Last night, YouTube held it’s first ever Music Awards (see: #YTMA) in New York, which was live-streamed for the whole wide world’s viewing pleasure.
As someone who lives for awkward moments, you can imagine my thrill when the audience went mute after a NINE-member girl group from South Korea was named Video of the Year. Jackpot.
Vanessa Hudgens stole the show, and not just because she was put in a fake headlock for Avicii’s short film – which was written by Lena Dunham – but due to her ridiculous Dolce & Gabbana long-sleeved maxi. While she’s already received the standard trash talk on this red carpet look, I’m completely obsessed with this dress.
Eminem won Artist of the Year (if anyone cares).
Lady GaGa (dressed in a trucker hat and a plaid, flannel shirt) gave an emotional performance of her new song “Dope“. Snaps for the real tears, Stefani – they totally made up for that horrific red carpet appearance of yours.
What does the fox say?
